60% of the searchers are made with 3 or 4 words criteria.
So it is not very helpful to select words individually,
but in a phrase context. For example nobody would search
only "Hotel" , it would be followed by some
geographic, location or quality criteria. |

Mention a geographic criteria, such as country, city
or location in the chosen criteria. (is it proved that
30% of the searched information mentions some kind of
location) |

It is important to have pages with a good content, and
it is much better if that content is related with the
searching criteria chosen for that page. For example
it would be very difficult to position an Arabian food
page if the searching criteria are “renting cars
in Cancun”. |

Taking into account that every page has at least 3 searching
criteria in order to achieve the top positions it would
be better to put similar phrases in the same page. As
an example: "Hotel in Buenos Aires Argentina",
"Hotel Buenos Aires Argentina" and "Accommodations
in Buenos Aires". |

Analyse your competitors’ web site with detail
in order to learn from them. (Benchmarking) |
Use words related with that one you want to position in
order to give your texts more density. This means that
if you whish to position a Restaurant, you will use the
word restaurant, and words like bar, dining, restaurant,
etc. |
